Seatrade Motorcycle Tour
While Mareike competed at the sailing regatta, Jörg enjoyed some rainy days in Scotland joining the Seatrade motorcycle tour. The team met in the Dutch city Ijmuiden to take the ferry to Newcastle and drove from there to the Atlantic coast of Scotland. Stops along the route before returning to Newcastle included Bellochantuy, Ardfern, Tobermorey on the Isle of Mull, Kinloch Rannoch, Grantown on Sprey, Brora, Achiltibuie, Invermoriston (yes, Loch Ness!) and Aviemore. The team hit the wettest summer in Scotland and spent many days driving in heavy rain with the temperature falling below 10dC.
