SOLAS VGM
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has amended the Safety of Life at Sea Convention (SOLAS). The container has to have a verified weight. As of July 1, 2016 the shipper is responsible for the verification of the packed container’s weight. Please see the attached document for more information on the new regulation.
